Elevate Rapid City Events Code of Conduct
Elevate Rapid City is committed to providing a positive, educational, enjoyable, and safe experience for all participants at our events. We expect all attendees, including participants, employees, vendors, sponsors, and anyone associated with the event, to conduct themselves in a respectful manner towards others. To ensure a conducive environment for everyone, please adhere to the guidelines outlined in this Code of Conduct and promptly report any unacceptable behavior.
This Code of Conduct is subject to periodic updates. By participating in Elevate Rapid City's events, including but not limited to webinars, meetups, conferences, and gatherings, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Code of Conduct. This agreement is between Elevate Rapid City ("us," "we," or "our") and you, either as an individual or as a representative of your employer or another entity ("you" or "your"). If you are representing an employer or another entity, you affirm that you have the legal authority to bind the entity to this Code of Conduct.
Acknowledgment and Consent: You acknowledge that this Code of Conduct is binding, and you signify your consent to abide by it either by clicking on a button or checking a box for acceptance or by participating in Elevate Rapid City's events, whichever occurs earlier (the "Effective Date"). If you do not agree to comply with and be bound by this Code of Conduct or lack the authority to bind your employer or any other relevant entity, please do not accept this Code of Conduct or participate in the events.
Behavior Expectations: During your participation in our in-person events, you agree:
- Not to engage in disruptive speech or behavior that interferes with other individuals' participation in the events.
- To act in a manner that fosters a safe and supportive environment for all event participants.
- Not to harass, offend, discriminate, or threaten anyone based on characteristics such as race, gender, political views, gender identity and expression, nationality, religion, disability, marital status, age, sexual orientation, or any other protected category.
- To follow all instructions given by Elevate Rapid City event staff.
- To not video or voice record any event content, unless with the media and prior approval was given by Elevate.
- To comply with all applicable laws and meet event-specific requirements, including health and safety guidelines.
Elevate Rapid City and/or anyone acting on its behalf, including third-party suppliers, reserve the right, at their sole and absolute discretion, to prevent any participant who acts contrary to this Code of Conduct from participating in the event, or to remove them from the event, including the removal of participant content if deemed necessary, and to bar any participant from future events. Participants will have no claim or demand in this regard.
